Event Staff (Part-Time). Beasley Media Group Detroit is seeking part time Event Staff who is interested in learning more about event marketing, promotions and broadcasting. As part of the Event Staff, you will work to gain exposure for the radio stations at station-produced and/or sponsored events, area concerts, sporting and cultural events and other on-site opportunities relevant to the station’s marketing and sales effort. Candidates must be detail oriented, creative and outgoing. They must have strong communications and organizational skills and must be able to represent the station(s) in a positive manner at events. Candidates should have strong people skills, web/internet knowledge, and must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Radiologic Technologist. Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, maintaining equipment and inventory, and monthly reading of instadose badges. Prepares patients for radiological procedure by positioning patients; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Teen & School Manager. Multimedia Graphic Designer. The Multimedia Graphic Designer is responsible for the plan, conceptualization, and execution of designs for a wide range of traditional and digital communication tactics. The Designer produces informational and communication graphics primarily for published, printed, and digital media. Designs are used to introduce, promote, train, encourage, inform, and otherwise assist in the marketing of public transit options used for community outreach efforts. The Designer works as an administrator to company websites, managing content, design, and functionality. This position performs design duties and provides departmental support aimed at reducing single occupant vehicle use through the development and implementation of programs that build awareness of the benefits of public transit and other sustainable transportation options.
Entomology Research and Outreach Fellowship (EROF). The Entomology Research and Outreach fellowship (EROF) is a fellowship in the Department of Entomology for undergraduate students with limited research opportunities to participate in world-class university research at Michigan State University.
Kitchen and Front of House Staff. We are hiring for full and part-time positions in both front and back of the house: BARTENDERS, FOOD RUNNERS, PREP/LINE COOKS. Summer Camp Site Coordinator. Under the supervision of a higher classified employee, the Playground Site Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and supervising a safe and fun day playground program. The coordinator should have general knowledge of group and tabletop games, crafts, outdoor games and first aid. The coordinator will supervise four playground leaders, oversee the free lunch program and be available to respond to parents’ questions, comments or concerns. They must be able to implement safe play practices, manage age-appropriate levels of play and competition, and encourage cooperation and fair play among participants. The coordinator delegates responsibility for set up, take down, inventory of equipment, and records activity and program participation.
