Tax Prep – Paid Internship. As a tax intern at Capstone Tax and Financial, you will be responsible for supporting the tax professionals in the preparation of the client’s tax returns. You will be entering client data into our system, analyzing the return, and working closely with the tax professionals to finalize the return, with the expectation of high accuracy. You will also be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments for clients, and answering basic client inquiries. During your internship, you will be fully submerged into the tax industry and gain hands-on experience. Groundskeeper. The groundkeeper works closely with the Facilities Manager and Senior Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds and public spaces of Avalon’s many sites. This includes seasonal maintenance such as caring for our grounds and gardens, to snow and ice removal in the winter. They also may provide support in turning over housing units and preparing them for the new lease. This is a part-time (24 – 30 hours per week) year-round position.
Seasonal Administrative Assistant. A financial firm located in Ann Arbor is seeking a seasonal administrative assistant. You’ll be responsible for data entry and tax processing. Sales and Service Specialist. The retail Sales and Service Specialist (SSS) is a unique hybrid role for stores and is intended as a key pipeline for future career-growth within BSRO. This role is primarily responsible for serving the Boss (customer) through assessing the Bosses’ needs, recommending appropriate products and/or services, performing entry-level vehicle services, and ensuring Boss satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services. Successful individuals in this role will learn all aspects of store operations and effectively flex between interacting/serving the Boss and efficiently completing basic vehicle service tasks as required.

Automotive Test Technician. Manpower is currently seeking an Automotive Test Technician to work for a premier automotive client located in Ann Arbor. Host Lead. The role of PET HOST Lead involves managerial support as well as customer service and Pet Pro support. The PET HOST LEAD will assume responsibility for the care and welfare of the guests in our facility when directed by the General and Resort Managers. The PET HOST LEAD will also assume responsibility for staff when directed by the General and Resort Managers. The PET HOST LEAD must by example by demonstrating dependability, initiative, and excellent decision-making skills.
Diesel Mechanic. The Plant Mechanic will maintain all vehicles, facilities and plant including, but not limited to: the truck fleet, auxiliary vehicles, lift trucks, packaging room equipment, and general facility maintenance.
COVID Screeners. Manpower is currently seeking COVID Screeners to work for the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. These are long-term opportunities offering full and part-time schedules between the working hours of Monday-Saturday 7am-6pm. Pay rate is $14 per hour. Selected candidates will be responsible for working in the entrance of a health care clinic and for asking COVID screening questions of patients and visitors coming in for appointments. Other duties may include taking temperatures and providing a mask if needed.
