Fuel Cell Build Intern Technician (3 spots available).  Fuel Cell Build Intern Technicians are responsible for supporting preproduction product development testing, and hardware assembly/fabrication needs within General Motors and our Fuel Cell Product Development Team, fostering collaborative and innovative approaches required to ensure the highest level of safety and data quality in a dynamic test lab atmosphere. 

Position duties/Essential Functions: Sets up and assembles equipment for Fuel Cell Systems which interface with high voltage safety systems; Supports hardware change requirements, ensuring safety and high data quality; Supports build modifications and maintenance to the fuel cell systems providing feedback and continued improvement; Maintains area workplace organization standards; Takes part in continuous improvement activities and participate in the problem resolution process; Participates in cross training initiatives for Lab Operations; Constantly improves the workspace, administration, and operations environment; Supports weekend and off-shift support needs as required for continued operations; Document all tasks completed with details to hand to another person to continue job

Ben and Jerry’s Ann Arbor – Full- and Part-Time Team Member.  To assist the Manager in the daily operations of the shop by working as an effective and efficient team member performing a variety of duties including, but not limited to, scooping ice cream, handling cash, baking, cleaning and maintaining excellent customer service.  Other duties as required by the Manager. 

Package Handlers.  FedEx Ground is hiring part-time and full-time individuals to load and unload packages in our fast-paced warehouse environment. Part-time employees typically work a 2-4-hour shift per day. Full-time employees work approximately two shifts per day of varying lengths. Package Handlers are responsible for warehouse duties including: the physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing packages, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner. Shifts may vary depending on warehouse package volume and business needs.

Service Desk Apprenticeship Program.  Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) is seeking students, recent grads, or other qualified entry-level job-seekers to serve as a 1-year apprentice (minimum) at the Service Desk. This structured on-the-job educational experience will help interested candidates grow into a career in IT. For this apprenticeship, HITS has partnered with Washtenaw Community College (WCC, so apprentices will receive formal training in addition to on-the-job learning. Upon completion of this program, apprentices will emerge with a deep knowledge of Information Technology architecture of Michigan Medicine (a leading academic medical center), as well as Computer Technology Certificate from WCC.

HVAC Apprentice.  Looking for a career in the residential Heating & Cooling Industry? Certified Nursing Assistant.  Your responsibilities include: Working under the supervision of an LPN or RN, attend to the individual needs of residents which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinence care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs in keeping with the individual’s care requirements.  Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report these changes to appropriate licensed nursing personnel. Lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention.

Registered Nurse and Graduate Nurse.  Beaumont Health is looking to hire qualified RN and Graduate Nurses to join our team. Currently we have full and part time day and night shift positions available on our Med/Surg and Progressive Care units at all 8 hospital campuses as listed below. Working hours are generally 12-hour shifts, 7am-7pm or 7pm to 7am, while some of our part time positions are 8-hour shifts.  The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Beaumont policies and procedures.

Automotive Service Technician.  Performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. We welcome Technicians, Trainees and Apprentices!

Surgical Technologist Full and part time all Locations.  Utilizes the principles and practices of surgical asepsis in the preparation of surgical instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments to surgeons within the sterile field.  Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by demonstrating knowledge of surgical procedures and the anatomy and physiology of the human body.  Maintains good rapport and cooperative relationships.  Approaches conflict in a constructive manner.  Helps to identify problems, offer solutions, and participates in their resolution. Maintains the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patient, physicians, employees, and visitors to St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea/Saint Joseph Mercy Health System.  Discusses patient and hospital information only among appropriate personnel in appropriately private places.

Part Time Bank Teller at Saline in Ann Arbor.  The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of a Retail Banking Center by committing to banker-readiness, conducting marketing activities leading to revenue growth in loans, deposits and noninterest income, contributing to the prescribed customer experience levels, maintaining disciplined operational objectives, while striving for excellence in execution in each of the mentioned areas. This role’s work schedule will involve occasional evenings and Saturdays and requires the lifting and movement of currency/coin packages weighing up to 25 pounds. Depending on this role’s location, this position could require extended periods of standing.

Service Center Technician Immediate.  The School of Dentistry has an exciting opportunity for a Service Center Technician Intermediate. Dental Informatics is charged with supporting and providing information technology to faculty, students, and staff to further the School of Dentistry’s teaching, research, and healthcare missions. Supervisor / Group Leader, AAPS Before/After School Program.  Establish and carry out the necessary procedures to ensure each child’s physical safety and comfort.  Plan and prepare a week of developmentally appropriate activities for the program activity time by the beginning of each week.  Implement a variety of developmentally appropriate activities each day.  Report to work at scheduled arrival time, set up the room so that it invites children’s activity.  Greet and interact with each child each session.  Ensure that each child and all areas of the center are adequately supervised at all times, and be aware of what is happening in other areas.
