Working from our office in Okemos, Michigan, the Special Education Teacher will virtually manage instructional programs for students with special needs. Through use of the telephone, Internet and various curriculum tools they will consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure that each child successfully completes his/her instructional program. The Special Education Teacher will participate in all steps of the IEP process. They will work closely with other teachers and district professionals to ensure that the school’s special education program is successful and operating in compliance with federal and state regulations. The landscape management team member is experienced in the green industry and assists the team leader. The position works as a member of the team and is responsible for landscape maintenance and enhancement projects under the direction of the team leader. The team member is able to operate a variety of equipment. Performs grounds maintenance duties such as mowing, weed control, aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming and pruning. Completes landscape enhancement projects such as mulch applications, plantings, top soil applications, lawn seeding. Promotes a safe and clean work environment inclusive of work site and equipment.
