Democratic candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden won Michigan in the March 10 presidential primary.
Biden won by 52.87%, more than a 10-point lead over opponent Bernie Sanders, who finished with 36.5% of the vote. In Washtenaw County, Biden finished with 47.59% of the vote and Sanders with 44.95%.
Sanders held rallies across Michigan over the weekend and Biden held one in Detroit on Monday. With 125 delegates to offer, both candidates called Michigan an important state for the Tuesday election.
Biden also won Missouri, Mississippi and Idaho last night.
President Donald Trump won the Republican vote in Michigan with a 93.74% lead. 4.15% of voters were uncommitted, while other Republican candidates won less than 1% of the vote each.
